Background: Appendicular mass, a standard surgical clinical entity is detected in concerning 26% of patients and gift with options of acute redness. Title: Management of external body part mass: comparative study between totally different modalities.

Aim: to review the effective management of external body part mass.

Materials and Methods: This study is prospective interventional study and enclosed patients aged between fifteen to seventy years diagnosed with external body part mass. knowledge collected enclosed history, clinical presentation, investigation, diagnosis, surgery, complications and length of hospital keep.

Results: a complete of thirty patients were admitted with identification of external body part mass, fifteen pts were treated with ochsnersherren programme out of that vi were treated with interval cutting out and alternative fifteen patients were treated with open cutting out.

Conculsion: Patients with external body part mass WHO were treated with open cutting out had longer period of hospital keep related to wound infection when put next to it of patients treated with ochsnersherren programme and interval cutting out. so this study favors ochsnersherren programme as most popular approach for the treatment of external body part mass.
