Abstract:

Du perforation is common complication of pudding. Patients desires prompt revivification and surgical stitching of perforation. mortality [1] is fifteen.2% and morbidity [1] is five.2%. however mortality is low in early identification & prompt treatment. once more operative outcome depends on ability, expertise and procedure.

Materials: this is often retrospective study in Jorhat Medical school & Hospital wherever total seventy five numbers of patients from Jan 2010 to December 2017 were analysed to judge effective and save open surgical suture.

Result: In one layer repair 2 patients had gall leak and each expired . three patients had symptoms of APD. In one layer suture 2 patients had gall leak and each died. Definitive surgery is usually restricted to its complication. In follow up, 3 patients were assessed to possess clinical feature of APD. It undergone PPI. Laparoscopic repair has no provent advantage in PPU. Mean Age is thirty-nine.61 in A and thirty six.37 in B. variance is � three.09 in A and � five.86 in B. Chi-Square take a look at is four.022 and P-value is zero.0525. thus P worth is simply vital at five-hitter or not vital. Gender isn�t associated with age for diseases as P-value is high.

Conclusion: 2 layer open surgical suture in PPD is found safe and secured than one layer suture.
